Working late one night in her shop, grieving disabled Seraphina discovers that the elevator in this old heritage building has broken down and she must climb the fourteen floors of a grand stairwell. As she descends, she encounters a series of familiar strangers. When she hears a cry for help, she must decide if she's the only one who can answer the call... and how many more stairs can she climb.
