Plucky reporter Benton takes a gig from beautiful heiress Sydney to ghostwrite the memoir for Sydney's billionaire father. "Where's the story and why me?" Benton thinks. She soon learns that she isn't their first choice — that was nervous novelist Denman who was promptly fired. Benton and Denman clash and sparks fly as they team up to uncover a shady past that the heiress would kill to keep secret while paying them to make her father famous.
